I haven't stopped working on that since. We're the people this guide is written for - the threat model isn't hypothetical for us. I stay anonymous by necessity, not preference. Previously this project was ran by Lena, the founder and a few other people with various backgrounds. Obviously, not much else can be said, but we are active members of the intelligence community (IC) and privacy/security circles. We strive to be the definitive source, not just a glorified recommendation website.
